Ignite
Friday October 2 has come and gone, which means that Ignite has come and gone, but wow, what an amazing night. We saw about 350 students come threw the doors that night. Every aspect of the night seemed to go so well.
The night started with DJ Dale playing some beats outside the entrance doors, while Keep It Real did their thing in the parking lot. The crowd was buzzing when "Hearts In Stereo" took the stage, and they did not disappoint one bit. They had the crowd from the first song right up until they left the stage. They were followed up by comedian Daniel Woodrow, who did an amazing job. He was just perfect for our night and are so thankful that he played a part that night. Finally the night ended with Manafest doing what he does best and that is bringing the crowd to a whole other level. We also saw about 10 students respond to a salvation call which is what makes this night worth it all.
We as a youth ministry are so thankful for all who came out and for all the different acts for the night. But more importantly thank you to those who spend days/months making Ignite happen. Was truly unforgettable.
Now we hope and pray that this event has done what we hoped would happen and that Ignite a flame on the inside of young people's hearts that would see the city changed for the better.
Thank you also to Pastor Brian Aiken from City Church and Pastor Rob Mckee from Lifecentre who helped out and are some of the city's most incredible youth pastor's and people.
